Therapeutic Integrative Facial Massage
Beyond Skin Deep — Release, Restore, and Renew.
The Therapeutic Integrative Facial Massage is an RMT-specialized, therapeutic protocol that addresses the deeper structures beneath the skin — the muscles, fascia, the nervous system, and lymphatic structures of the face and head that influence both form and function.
The face and head are often overlooked in traditional bodywork, yet they are home to over 43 intricate muscles responsible not only for our expressions but also for the tension we unconsciously carry. Our faces hold more than emotion — they store stress, mental fatigue, and the subtle strain of daily life. Over time, this can affect circulation, muscle tone, and even posture.
Using advanced therapeutic facial massage techniques, including myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, sculptural massage, gua sha, and cupping, this treatment works to release deep-seated tension, enhance circulation, and restore natural mobility to the facial and cranial structures. The session includes focused work through the face, neck, scalp, and head — areas where muscle tension often goes untreated yet profoundly influences overall balance and well-being. This service is available as a 60-minute Therapeutic Integrative Facial Massage, or as a 60-minute session that includes optional Buccal (intraoral) massage for deeper muscular release.
Buccal massage (intraoral)
Buccal massage is a specialized technique performed with gloved hands inside the mouth to access deeper layers of the facial musculature. It allows direct contact with muscles that cannot be reached externally, providing more effective muscle release and a more profound sculpting and lifting effect than external work alone.
